About The Position
We are seeking a Vascular Surgeon for a Locum Tenens position in Youngstown, OH. This inpatient role involves clinical duties and call coverage, focusing on adult and geriatric patients. The coverage period is from January 1, 2027, ongoing, with a commitment of 5 consecutive days per month. The surgeon will perform vascular surgeries, provide inpatient and ED coverage, manage vascular units, and participate in a 1:5 call ratio. Trauma Level 1 facility utilizing EPIC EMR.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Licensed in OH
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Fellowship required
- Clean background with no malpractice or license issues
- EMR proficiency (EPIC)
Responsibilities
- Perform vascular surgeries on adult and geriatric patients.
- Provide comprehensive inpatient coverage for vascular surgery patients.
- Consult and manage emergency department patients requiring vascular intervention.
- Manage inpatient vascular units and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in call schedule including weeknights and weekends as needed.
