About The Position
This is a Locums Tenens position for a Vascular & Interventional Radiologist in Kearney, NE. The role involves providing inpatient clinical coverage at a 175-bed hospital with Level II trauma designation. The coverage period is from August 17, 2026, ongoing, with specific dates provided. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, without call. The position requires providing a range of interventional radiology services, including spine procedures, port and central line placements, solid organ biopsies and drainages, oncology interventions, kyphoplasty, and breast biopsies. The physician will work collaboratively with dedicated technologist and nursing support, and a PA for specific procedures. EPIC is the EMR system used.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Vascular & Interventional Radiology
- Active NE License or Universal License (IMLC) required
- Clean background/malpractice preferred
- Availability at time of name clear required
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Responsibilities
- Provide interventional radiology services including spine procedures, port placements, biopsies, drainages, oncology interventions, kyphoplasty, and breast biopsies.
- Perform image-guided therapies and oncologic interventions.
- Collaborate with dedicated technologist and nursing support.
- Work Monday to Friday 8am-5pm without call.
- Ensure Level II trauma center IR coverage.
