About The Position

We are seeking a Vascular & Interventional Radiologist for a Locum Tenens position at a Level I Trauma hospital in Lansing, MI. This is a hospital-based role requiring clinical duties and call coverage. The position involves performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures for an adult and geriatric patient population. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Q3 call coverage. You will work collaboratively with a team of three Interventional Radiologists and two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Requirements

• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
• Active Michigan Medical License (IMLC/compact not accepted)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Clean malpractice and license history
• NPDB self-query required

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, biopsies, thrombolysis, and UFE.
• Provide hospital-based IR services during day-shift schedule (7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday).
• Participate in Q3 call coverage, including every third weekday and every third weekend.
• Collaborate with a team of three interventional radiologists and two APPs to manage patient care.
• Consult with referring physicians on interventional radiology cases.
