About The Position

We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Springfield, OH. This role involves both inpatient (30%) and outpatient (70%) services, requiring clinical duties and on-call coverage. The coverage period is ASAP and ongoing, with a shift schedule of Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Call duties include nights (5 pm-7 am) and 24-hour weekends, with a beeper call type and an average callback rate of 0-2 hours per call. The average daily patient volume is 12, and the patient demographics are adults. The facility utilizes the EPIC EMR system. Hospital privileges are required, with temporary privileges available. The credentialing timeline is 30-60 days. Required procedures include Angioplasty, Embolization, Port Catheter Placement, Biopsy, Drainage, Ablation, and Kyphoplasty.

Requirements

• Board Certified (BC)
• Valid OH License
• Active DEA
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of work experience
• Hospital Privileges Required

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
• Perform angioplasty, embolization, and ablation procedures
• Perform biopsies, drainage, and port catheter placements
• Provide on-call coverage for nights and weekends
• Collaborate with surgical and medical teams for patient management
