About The Position
The Varsity Girls Basketball Coach is responsible for all team activities, including scheduled practices and games, and must adhere to district policies, rules, and objectives. The coach will lead by example, focusing on personal development, skill development, safety, fair play, sportsmanship, and improving the team and program. Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, willing to work within a coaching staff, able to travel with the team, and meet or complete all required district, high school, and NHIAA requirements.
Requirements
- Previous coaching at the high school level preferred.
- Experience working with teenagers preferred.
- Dependable.
- Detail-oriented.
- Willing to work within a coaching staff atmosphere.
- Able to travel with the team to and from away games.
- Meet or be willing to complete all Conway School District, Kennett High School and NHIAA requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage all scheduled practices and games.
- Adhere to district policies, rules, and objectives.
- Lead by example among the team and players.
