About The Position

The Baldwin School, founded in 1888, is an all-girls, college preparatory, independent day school serving PreK-Grade 12. The Baldwin School is seeking qualified coaches for the 2026-27 season, including a Varsity Head Basketball Coach. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Athletics and should possess a genuine love and knowledge of their sport, with the ability to teach, mentor, and motivate student-athletes. Collaborative and creative leadership is essential. A Baldwin Coach is student-centered, embraces school life, maintains high standards, fosters a positive and collaborative culture, and embodies the school's core values of Learning, Respect, Responsibility, Compassion, and Honesty.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Competitive background and previous experience in coaching required
• Knowledge of appropriate safety measures to ensure the well-being of student-athletes
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills
