About The Position

Gordon Food Service Store LLC is hiring a part-time Van Delivery Driver in Key West, Florida. The role is responsible for courteous, accurate, and on-time product deliveries along a variable daily route, operating the van professionally and safely, and assisting with store operations before or after the route. The job also includes in-store customer service, order picking, checkout, receiving, and merchandising duties.

Requirements

At least one year of previous delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or a related field are preferred.
An unrestricted standard operator's license is required.
Must have a clean driving record, with no drug or alcohol offenses in the last five years.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must successfully pass pre-employment checks, including a drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.
Must be able to use a two-wheel cart with a load weighing up to 350 pounds.
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of previous delivery driving experience.
At least one year of experience in customer service or a related field.

Responsibilities

Locate and pick orders in-store for wholesale customers.
Build and maintain good customer relationships by delivering products accurately and on time.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
Protect cash, checks, and merchandise by following security policies and procedures.
Receive and merchandise products accurately, maintaining product rotation and quality.
Execute end-cap and planogram requirements and maintain top stock, freezer, cooler, and backroom organization.
Assist with store operations before or after completing the delivery route.
