About The Position

Gordon Food Service Store LLC is hiring a part-time Van Delivery Driver at its Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania location. The role delivers products to wholesale customers on a variable daily route, with responsibility for courteous, accurate, and timely service and safe, professional operation of the van. The position may also assist with store operations before or after completing the delivery route.

Delivery work includes locating and picking customer orders in the store, maintaining customer relationships, delivering products accurately and on time, and completing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment. In-store duties include processing customer purchases at the point of sale, safeguarding cash, checks, and merchandise, receiving and merchandising products, rotating stock and checking product quality, executing end caps and planograms, and organizing top stock, freezer, cooler, and backroom areas.

The listed pay is $15–$17 per hour, based on experience. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; it is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Easter. Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous delivery driving experience and 1 year in customer service or a related field are preferred.
• An unrestricted standard operator’s license is required.
• Must have a clean driving record, with no drug- or alcohol-related offenses in the last 5 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass pre-employment checks, including a drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report (MVR).
• Must be able to use a two-wheel cart carrying a load of up to 350 pounds.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
