Van/Bus Driver
About The Position
Maintain safe and appropriate behavior of all riders in accordance with established guidelines Assess incidents, complaints, accidents and/or potential emergency situations (e.g. road hazards, medical emergencies, accidents, etc.) Assists students and other passengers with safe loading and unloading from buses during transport and emergency situations Perform routine cleaning on both interior and exterior to ensure safety, appearance, and sanitation of vehicle Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (e.g. gauge levels, exterior condition, etc.) to meet safety operation standards Prepare written and verbal reports when necessary
Requirements
- Must have a current Missouri Driver’s License, with a clean driving record.
- Commercial Driver’s License - Class B (CDL-B) required, with passenger & air brake endorsements, and Missouri School Bus Permit, or willingness to obtain.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- All employees are required to consent to a background check, commit to our Code of Conduct policy, and complete online and in-person trainings prior to hire.
