About The Position

Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking an associate for a Valve Automation Sales Support role to join the Valve Automation team. This role is a development opportunity where the team will invest in the associate's success and teach them everything they need to know about Valve Automation. The associate will report to the Engineered Products Team Manager and will spend time learning the V&A business while completing quotations. The primary focus will be quoting Valve Automation work to build a foundation in V&A products, with the potential to engage in more Engineered Products over time. This position requires the associate to be located in Cincinnati, OH, to be in proximity to the Engineered Products Team.

Requirements

0-3 years sales experience is preferred.
Proficient in Trilogie is highly preferred.
Strong attention to detail & high aptitude for learning quickly.
A high level of integrity when problem solving.
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets and mobile devices.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).

Responsibilities

Support the Midwest Inside & Outside Sales team, including internal and external customers.
Deliver exceptional customer service while learning the Valve Automation business.
Size Actuators, Control Valves, Accessories, & build out Valve Automation quotations daily.
Interact and develop relationships with key vendors to support sales.
Work with all associates in the district to support V&A products and be a team player.
Form solid relationships to establish trust with the entire district to work seamlessly together.
Willingness to learn and train continually, specifically on Valve Automation products.
Other duties as assigned.
