About The Position

The Value Added Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of Value Added production and its P&L at the Green Bay location. The role ensures product quality and yields on the production line and is responsible for the safety and motivation of supervised employees. The manager must understand and follow union regulations related to hourly employees. The position typically involves a 50–55-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with some Saturday work if necessary. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in meat manufacturing.
• Previous management experience.
• Knowledge of products and their specifications.
• Communication skills.
• Ability to motivate workers.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, which may include extensive walking while supervising employees.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual skills are important but not mandatory.
