We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Associate to join our Valuation Advisory Services practice. CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week. This position will support our Valuation Advisory group. This group provides a wide suite of services to clients, giving you the opportunity to learn, grow, and build out your skills. As a member of this team, you’ll interact with team members across all levels within the practice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience performing financial analysis or data driven research
  • Basic knowledge of valuation methodologies
  • Proven experience in data science research and analysis
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Flexibility of work schedule to meet client needs required
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform research using different public records databases and other subscription based databases
  • Assist in verification of transactional data through online research and direct solicitations
  • Help enter in details to transactions and help maintain internal databases
  • Work with staff and team, ensuring quality work is performed in a timely manner
  • Improve internal processes, procedures, policies, analyses, and models
  • Develop Excel models as needed
