About The Position

PHC Corporation of North America (PHCNA), a regional provider of PHCbi laboratory solutions and member of PHC Group, is seeking a Validation Engineer II to drive validation projects both on-site and in-house. The engineer serves as a technical partner to customers, the sales team, and technical support specialists. The role is onsite in Wood Dale, Illinois, with overnight travel of up to 50%.

Requirements

2–3 years of experience in calibration and/or validation procedures.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with temperature mapping.
Ability to travel up to 50%.

Nice To Haves

Experience in electrical and/or electronic troubleshooting procedures.
Refrigeration experience.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site validation, including Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualifications, and calibration at customer locations throughout North America.
Perform in-house validation, including Factory Acceptance Testing, and calibration.
Lead the development, writing, and revision of validation protocols and calibration procedures.
Lead the organization, functionality, and compliance of validation equipment.
Quote validation services and documents.
Work with the technical support department to provide validation and calibration support to customers and internal staff.
Support customer-generated testing protocols.
Provide telephone technical support to customers as needed on product operation, maintenance, and repair of biomedical products.
