About The Position

PHC Corporation of North America (PHCNA), a provider of PHCbi laboratory solutions and member of PHC Group, is seeking a Validation Engineer II to drive validation projects both at customer sites and in-house. The position is based onsite in Wood Dale, Illinois, and involves overnight travel of up to 50%. The engineer serves as a technical partner to customers, the sales team, and technical support specialists, and supports validation and calibration activities for biomedical products across North America.

Requirements

2–3 years of experience in calibration and/or validation procedures.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with temperature mapping.
Ability to travel up to 50%.

Nice To Haves

Experience with electrical and/or electronic troubleshooting procedures.
Refrigeration experience.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualifications, as well as calibration, at customer locations throughout North America.
Perform in-house validation, including Factory Acceptance Testing, and calibration.
Lead the development, writing, and revision of validation protocols and calibration procedures.
Lead efforts to keep validation equipment organized, functional, and compliant.
Quote validation services and prepare related documentation.
Work with the technical support department to provide validation and calibration support to customers and internal staff.
Support customer-generated testing protocols.
Provide telephone technical support to customers as needed regarding biomedical product operation, maintenance, and repair.
