About The Position

Dune Deck Beach Club, located in Westhampton Beach, New York, is seeking a Seasonal Valet Supervisor to join the Transportation Department from May to October 2026. This role is crucial in creating positive and lasting impressions for members, guests, and team members by overseeing daily transportation operations. Responsibilities include managing on-site parking, transporting members and guests, and ensuring the maintenance of club vehicles. The Valet Supervisor will play a key part in delivering the unique Discovery Land Company experience.

Requirements

  • Valid U.S. Driver’s license or International Equivalent.
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • At least one (1) year of parking or transportation industry experience.
  • Proficient in proper and safe driving of vehicles.
  • Driving record that meets the Club’s insurance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time and use vision, hearing, and hands/arms to drive multi-passenger vehicles.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length due to business demands.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience and/or leadership role in a high-volume environment at a restaurant, resort, or private club (preferred).
  • Ability to train, lead, and manage teams of valet parking attendants.
  • Work assignment may include duties at our partner project, The Hills club in East Quogue, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and training valets to ensure job expectations are met.
  • Develop and maintain excellent member and guest relations.
  • Handle customer complaints and day-to-day operational issues.
  • Oversee the customer service to ensure member and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop budgets and monitor financials to meet business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company and member policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional service and communication at all times with members, guests, and team members.
  • Assist with daily operations such as greeting members and guests, parking and retrieving vehicles and golf carts.
  • Responsible for driving, picking up, or dropping off members and VIP guests around the local area, which includes the airport.
  • Adhere to and ensure department policies/procedures are adhered to.
  • Keep parking areas clean and orderly.
  • Oversee maintenance and cleaning program of transportation shuttles and company vehicles.
  • Check the condition of transport vehicle’s tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment to ensure everything is in working order.
  • Provide deliveries/pickups as needed, and run other errands as needed.
  • Review usage reports and relay relevant information to club leadership.
  • Operate light and heavy passenger vans and buses for transport to airports, off-site housing, off-site entertainment/activities and more as needed.
  • Create and distribute staff transportation schedules.
  • Lead department meetings and trainings.
  • Attend operational meetings as necessary.
  • Any addition duties as assigned.
