About The Position

Lead and direct all components of valet operations during a shift block. This is a working supervisor, organizing and taking on daily shift challenges. The Valet Supervisor will be responsible for fostering a working environment that includes safety, teamwork, leadership, and excellence. This position will be the onsite point person for employees during the designated shift.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Attention to detail; organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Is dependable, on time, and can adapt to a changing environment.
  • Team-oriented, demonstrating servant leadership.
  • Able to stand and walk approximately 95% of shift.
  • Able to sit, stand, stoop, move up/down, walk, jog and run as needed.
  • Ability to work outside in diverse weather conditions, to include heat, cold, rain and snow etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous parking, valet, payment collection, or event experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Onsite shift lead, ensuring uniform policy, attendance policy, and all other Cornerstone Parking Group and client expectations and policies are maintained and monitored.
  • Provide leadership and/or support, be visible, available and supportive for entire shift for staff and client.
  • Weekly and monthly operational and employee recap with Valet department and leadership.
  • Train staff team members on Valet duties and responsibilities.
  • Organization of attendance and tracking valet employees’ work hours.
  • Report to the Valet Manager any significant challenges, urgent situations, absences, performance issues or any important information that could affect the operations directly.
  • Practice “hands-on” leadership, coaching through MBWA (Management by Walking Around), and lead by example.
  • Communication with other shift supervisors and managers with operational demands.
  • Responsible for collection and organization of equipment: signs, parking cones/delineators, rope and stake, valet podium, valet software, uniforms.
  • Comply with cash handling practices set by the operations leadership team

  • 136 PTO Hours, available upon hire
