About The Position

Metropolis is an artificial intelligence company that uses computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. It operates a parking network with more than 23,000 employees at over 4,000 locations across North America and Europe. The Valet Driver role is based at Orlando Health - Horizon West in Winter Garden, Florida, and pays $15.00 per hour plus tips. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The role involves safely parking vehicles, interacting with customers, and helping provide a seamless valet experience. Valet drivers inspect vehicles before parking, explain rates, follow safe driving practices, and communicate with customers and management. Employees are expected to arrive on time in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout each shift.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States, with valid documentation provided if hired.
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, identify solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area to support customers' transportation needs.
• Arrive on time for each scheduled shift in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
