About The Position

The full-time Valet Attendant will work at Orlando Health - Horizon West in Winter Garden, Florida. The role pays $15.00 per hour plus tips and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The attendant provides safe, courteous valet service, interacts with customers, and helps deliver a seamless transportation experience. Special shifts, including second or third shifts and weekends, may be needed.
Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
- Proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States; valid documentation must be provided if hired.
- Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
- Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt calmly to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
- Ability to stand and walk regularly and use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb or balance, and lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission.
- Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shifts and/or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, identify ways to address problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
- Inspect each vehicle before parking it safely and note inspection findings.
- Explain valet rates to customers.
- Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
- Know major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area to support customers’ transportation experience.
- Arrive on time for each scheduled shift in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
- Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
