Onsight Healthcare has been contracted to support Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey. This is a full-time position with benefits, offering a base pay of $16/hour with an average earning of $18-$20/hour with tips. The Hospitality and Valet Team plays a crucial role in shaping the first and last impressions of patients and guests during their hospital visits, embodying exceptional customer service and going above and beyond to assist individuals. This role requires continuous physical engagement in an outdoor environment, potentially exposed to harsh elements, and involves parking and retrieval of vehicles with urgency and efficiency, while ensuring safety and security.

Requirements

Over the age of 18 years old
Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer
High school Diploma or GED
Must have at least 2 years of strong in-person customer service experience
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment for the entire shift
Possess an active in-state driver's license (No Restricted Permits or Probationary Licenses).
Maintained a clean driving record for the past 5 years as an active driver
Work with professionalism, integrity, and compassion, supporting your team, and together represent Onsight Healthcare throughout the facility
Work well independently and as part of a team
Adequately operate apps/technology on a tablet, and continuously learn new software that may be applied to daily tasks
Move with urgency and speed to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, paying attention to surroundings and details
Work in a standing position for hours at a time in an outdoor environment
Safely and physically able to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional valet and customer service for patients and guests, primarily entailing the parking and retrieval of vehicles with urgency and operational efficiency, while ensuring the safety and security of people and vehicles.
May assist patients and visitors in the parking garage with parking equipment, payment kiosks, or wayfinding as needed.
This role will require continuous physical engagement in an outdoor environment that at times may include being exposed to harsh elements, including severe heat, cold weather, rain, sleet, snow, and other inclement weather.
Physical involvement will include walking, standing, pushing, and pulling of various luggage/belongings in and out of a patient’s vehicle, all while delivering outstanding customer service.
Daily use of apps/technology to maintain operational efficiency and logistics.
Actively maintain a clean and professional work environment and deliver first-class customer service.
Greet patients, visitors, and staff with a consistently warm & friendly demeanor, showing compassion and empathy to everyone you interact with.
Support and work in a team environment to meet all metrics that strengthen the client relationship with Onsight Healthcare.
Assist individuals with mobility challenges, offering wheelchair and escort services as needed.
Meticulously maintain records, including photos of the vehicle, condition, and other records as needed.
Efficiently manage parking logistics, adhering to all site requirements and abiding by all traffic laws.
Provide accurate directions and helpful information about the hospital facilities.
Effectively build relationships with hospital staff, patients, guests, and team.
