About The Position
SP+, a Metropolis company, is hiring a Valet Attendant at Portofino Bay in Orlando, Florida. The attendant safely inspects and parks vehicles, explains rates, responds to customer questions, and provides directions when needed. The role requires professional customer service, safe driving, adherence to traffic laws, and reporting accidents, hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management. Employees must arrive on time in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout their shift. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
- Proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States, with valid documentation provided if hired.
- Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
- Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
- Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

- Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission.
Responsibilities
- Inspect each vehicle before parking it safely and note any findings.
- Explain valet rates to customers.
- Respond quickly and kindly to customer questions.
- Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
- Know major local streets, landmarks, and freeways and provide directions when needed.
- Arrive on time for every scheduled shift in a clean uniform and remain in uniform for the full shift.
- Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
