About The Position

The Avery is looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-minded Valet & Guest Services Attendant to join our hospitality team. This position is a hybrid role that includes valet parking, bell service, guest assistance, and light property support. The ideal candidate is professional, energetic, comfortable working on their feet, and committed to creating a welcoming experience for every guest. This role is guest-facing and requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to move quickly while maintaining a polished and helpful attitude.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must be comfortable driving a variety of vehicles.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull luggage and supplies as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication and guest-service skills.
  • Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Clean driving record preferred.
  • Previous valet, hotel, hospitality, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
  • Safely park, retrieve, and handle guest vehicles with care and professionalism.
  • Assist guests with luggage, doors, directions, and general property questions.
  • Provide bell service and help create a smooth arrival and departure experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front entrance, valet area, and guest-facing spaces.
  • Communicate clearly with front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams.
  • Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
  • Assist with light housekeeping or property support during morning shifts as needed, including stripping rooms, sweeping floors, removing trash, and supporting the housekeeping team.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
  • Represent The Avery with professionalism, discretion, and a positive attitude.
