About The Position

As an integral part of a team, the Valet Ambassador is responsible for continuously looking for ways to improve Guests’ experience by providing exceptional guest service. This includes driving hotel vehicles and transporting hotel guests to and from assigned destinations safely, efficiently, and courteously. The role requires adherence to all local and state driving laws and ensures the safety and security of passengers and vehicles.

Requirements

Proficient in English (oral and written) to effectively perform job functions.
Able to multi-task.
Abstract (3 years no moving violation).
Minimum 2 year experience driving vehicles.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Must speak, read, write, and understand the primary language (English) used in the workplace.
Must be able to speak and understand the primary language used by the guests who visits the hotel.

Responsibilities

Greet and acknowledge all arriving/departing guests.
Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly.
Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Answer Bell Desk phone within 3 rings and record guest requests.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
Review Daily Buzz, Reader Boards and Guest Letter Activities.
Review the log book to learn daily business activity and assignments.
Remain in assigned post position, maintaining correct stance.
Open and close the hotel main entrance doors for guests.
Open and close guest vehicle doors.
Assist customers with carrying of personal belongings to and from their cars.
Provide directions or other helpful information about the local area.
Inspect vehicle for damages; mark on valet tag the appropriate damage.
Ensure the safety of all passengers’ luggage into/out of the vehicle.
Park vehicle in designated valet stalls.
Obey all traffic and driving regulations.
Communicate effectively, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks with various departments and guests.
Perform all other duties as may be required or assigned.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
