About The Position

Tommy's Express Car Wash is hiring a Vacuum Concierge to provide friendly, personalized service primarily in the vacuum area and help deliver an exceptional, concierge-level guest experience. The role combines guest relations, sales, use of point-of-sale and license plate recognition systems, vacuum equipment care, and upkeep of the facility. Team members may also support fleet sales and business development during slower periods or inclement weather.

The position operates in a professional retail environment throughout the car wash facility, both indoors and outdoors. Car wash operating hours are Monday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The role may be part-time or full-time: part-time team members average 16–24 hours per week, and full-time team members average 30–40 hours per week. Weekend shifts are required. The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities and does not require travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, friendly, and personalized service to guests, primarily in the vacuum area.
• Greet guests, build relationships, explain wash options, and promote monthly wash packages and service upgrades.
• Anticipate guest needs, assist with vacuum use, and resolve concerns in real time.
• Support fleet sales and business development through outreach, lead generation, and relationship building during slower periods or inclement weather.
• Learn and operate POS and LPR systems to support sales, guest check-in, and car wash operations as needed.
• Monitor wash quality and guest satisfaction, taking ownership to address issues.
• Help maintain vacuum equipment and perform routine care as needed.
• Maintain the appearance of the property, especially the vacuum area, and keep the car wash interior, exterior, and surrounding property clean and organized.
• Deliver a concierge-level experience that encourages guest loyalty and repeat visits.
• Uphold the WE OWN IT culture by taking ownership of guest relationships, sales results, and the location's success.
• Set a positive example for other Team Members through hard work and a strong attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
