About The Position

The Industrial Technician installs, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots industrial equipment and systems. The role supports production efficiency, safety compliance, and the reliability of machinery used in daily operations. Work takes place in an industrial setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures; overtime, shift work, or on-call availability may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven experience as an Industrial Technician, Maintenance Technician, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various industrial environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
• Welding, fabrication, or machining skills.
• OSHA or other safety training certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and electrical components.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Operate tools and diagnostic equipment to identify problems and ensure proper system functionality.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Document maintenance activities, repair work, and parts usage.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and production teams to optimize equipment performance.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians when needed.
