About The Position

The Vacuum Equipment Operator works inside chemical plants operating equipment to recover plastic scrap from tanks, railcars, sump ponds, and other areas within the work site. The role requires safe equipment operation, teamwork, adherence to safety policies, and professional communication with facility and plant personnel and other employees. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively coordinate with coworkers and clients.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a chemical plant is highly preferred.
• Experience with vacuum equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vacuum equipment.
• Work in a team environment.
• Adhere to safety policies set by supervisors and chemical plant personnel.
• Communicate effectively, promptly, and professionally with facility managers, plant supervisors, plant operations and safety personnel, and other employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
