About The Position

The Vacation Relief position proficiently operates plant and warehouse positions to cover vacations and vacancies at the Vernon Plant. The schedule varies weekly according to planned vacations. During training, schedules rotate across all shifts so the employee can learn the functions of the positions. The role requires flexibility for odd hours and short-notice schedule changes based on operational needs. Employees must remain until the job is completed or they are relieved.

Requirements

Ability to learn and perform all positions at the facility in a timely manner.
Availability for varying weekly schedules, odd hours, and short-notice changes in hours according to operational needs.
Ability to rotate through all shifts during training.
Ability to remain at work until the job is completed or relieved.

Responsibilities

Learn and perform all facility positions in a timely manner.
Follow the SOP for each position to prevent adulteration, loss, or damage to product or equipment.
Maintain documented information in accordance with SQF requirements.
Keep work areas neat and clean to meet GMP and SQF requirements.
Follow safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and avoid placing oneself or other employees in harm’s way.
Stay until the job is completed or relieved.
Perform other assignments as directed by a supervisor or foreman.
