About The Position

This course builds upon UX115 and introduces students to the quantitative methods used to collect, analyze and present summative UX data. Students learn how to select appropriate metrics for the assessment of usability, utility and satisfaction with products and services, as well as how to justify design decisions with data.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree
• Teaching experience at the college or university level or experience providing training in UX quantitative research or equivalent is required.
• Applied quantitative research practice involving human subjects or equivalent is required.

Nice To Haves

• PhD with emphasis in User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Interaction Design or equivalent is preferred
• Commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in the classroom is preferred
• Currency with industry best practices and tools relevant to the course is preferred
