About The Position

Life Science Connect is hiring its first dedicated UX/UI Designer to modernize the user experience across its 15 industry websites, email newsletters, sponsor-facing products, supplier directories, and RFP Navigator platform. The designer will partner with product to imagine and shape experiences for readers and customers, then create finished, buildable designs across web, email, and SaaS. The role works day-to-day with the Senior Product Manager, Audience & Data, alongside engineering, editorial, and commercial teams. The role begins as a 1099 contract as soon as possible, at approximately 22–28 hours per week. Life Science Connect plans to convert it to a full-time position in Q1 2027 and is seeking someone interested in that full-time role. Initial work includes refining and extending the website design system and components for a CMS migration; creating a modular email system and adapting it to approximately 26 newsletter templates; and refreshing the RFP Navigator marketing site, onboarding, and core RFP workflows. Future roadmap work includes interactive AI content experiences, personalized on-site and reader-agent experiences, and self-service data products for clients. The position is remote and includes a weekly working session with the Product Manager, with additional reviews as needed. Figma is used for design, specifications, and handoff, along with shared tools for tickets and feedback. Life Science Connect owns all work product. The company does not offer visa sponsorship.
