About The Position
One of our direct clients is urgently looking for a UX / Product Designer in Austin, TX. This role is for a 3 to 6+ month contract-to-hire position.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software design experience.
- BS degree in Design or Technology related field.
- Expert level experience with agile methodologies and software development processes.
- Expert level knowledge of Information Architecture.
- Expert level knowledge of design processes, sketching, and wireframes.
- Expert level knowledge of web design and user experience, including accessibility.
- Advanced skills with User-Centric Design methods.
- Experience with User Research.
- Ability to communicate to all levels of users (internal and external).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability.
- Proactiveness.
- Willingness to take ownership.
- Willingness to manage ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Design user experiences for software products.
- Apply agile methodologies and software development processes.
- Develop Information Architecture.
- Utilize design processes, sketching, and wireframing.
- Design for web and user experience, including accessibility.
- Employ User-Centric Design methods.
- Conduct User Research.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of users (internal and external).
- Solve problems effectively.
