About The Position

Further is a data, cloud, and AI company focused on helping companies turn raw data into the right decisions. They have an award-winning culture and aim to enable people to thrive so that businesses can thrive. They believe work should be meaningful and have a positive impact. This role is for an Associate UX / IA Director who will serve as the strategy and measurement anchor for clients making data-driven decisions. The role involves analytics program design, measurement frameworks, data strategy, and client leadership, with a focus on seeing recommendations through. The individual will bring business thinking, shape client strategies, and act as a player-coach. Responsibilities include leading discovery sessions, pressure-testing hypotheses, presenting to senior stakeholders weekly, owning client relationships, driving business development, and mentoring team members. The primary goal is to improve clients' data utilization for business operations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product design experience, with at least 4 in a senior, lead, or principal role at a complex B2B SaaS, platform, or operator-facing product.
  • A portfolio that proves craft at complexity, including IA ownership that made a hard product feel obvious, organized and intentional Figma files, and interaction design for high-stakes workflows.
  • Experience owning a design system in production: components, tokens, patterns, governance, and the engineering partnership.
  • Direct research experience with senior practitioners or executives, including running interviews, synthesizing findings, and presenting to challenging audiences.
  • Strong product instincts to argue for or against scope, sequence, or features based on user need, business context, and platform coherence.
  • A track record of mentoring designers, formally or informally.

Responsibilities

  • Own the information architecture: navigation, taxonomy, page hierarchy, language, concept grouping.
  • Design the critical workflows: how operators triage signals, configure actions, review AI outputs, and approve high-stakes decisions.
  • Build and maintain the design system: components, patterns, tokens, accessibility, and documentation.
  • Set the bar for visual craft.
  • Run user research with operators, account leads, and executives.
  • Shape the product, not just the design; influence the roadmap.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering on feasibility, solution architecture on what needs surfaces, data architecture on what's queryable, and leadership on what the product should mean.

Benefits

  • Net-zero cost medical option
  • Company contributions to your HSA
  • Fertility support
  • Fully-paid parental leave
  • Monthly stipend for your lifestyle spending account
