The role As a UX Designer, you will design the digital experiences that Vale customers and operators rely on, combining research, strategy, and craft to create interfaces that are clear, efficient, and delightful.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 4+ years of UX design experience, with a portfolio showing end-to-end design process
  • Proficiency in Figma and experience with prototyping tools
  • Strong research skills and experience running usability studies
  • Ability to design for both mobile and web platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing for hardware-connected digital experiences a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead UX research including user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis
  • Design end-to-end user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver well-crafted, feasible designs
  • Develop and maintain UX documentation including personas, journey maps, and design principles
  • Facilitate design critiques and cross-functional design reviews
  • Contribute to and help evolve Vale’s design system
  • Measure design effectiveness through data and iterate on experiences post-launch
