The role As a UX Designer, you will design the digital experiences that Vale customers and operators rely on, combining research, strategy, and craft to create interfaces that are clear, efficient, and delightful.

Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the United States
4+ years of UX design experience, with a portfolio showing end-to-end design process
Proficiency in Figma and experience with prototyping tools
Strong research skills and experience running usability studies
Ability to design for both mobile and web platforms

Nice To Haves

Experience designing for hardware-connected digital experiences a strong plus

Responsibilities

Lead UX research including user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis
Design end-to-end user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver well-crafted, feasible designs
Develop and maintain UX documentation including personas, journey maps, and design principles
Facilitate design critiques and cross-functional design reviews
Contribute to and help evolve Vale’s design system
Measure design effectiveness through data and iterate on experiences post-launch
