About The Position

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to create effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces. This role involves designing the overall functionality of products to ensure a great user experience, iterating based on user testing, and applying a user-centered design approach. You will conduct user research, interviews, and surveys, translating findings into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in GUI design, a strong understanding of web development technologies, and experience designing online programs with an emphasis on the emotional aspects of human experience. You will also be responsible for facilitating the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for digital products, optimized for various devices and interfaces. This includes identifying design problems, devising solutions, making strategic design decisions, and gathering user feedback to refine interfaces. A team player with a track record of meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities, and client relationship management is essential.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance.
  • Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role, designing for web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools.
  • Thorough understanding of the limitations and appropriate use of web development technologies.
  • Experience in designing online programs with emphasis in the emotional aspects of human experience.
  • Experience conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Experience designing the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.
  • Experience designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user flows, user journeys, mockups and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Experience facilitating the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products and optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Experience identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions.
  • Experience making strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
  • Experience gathering user feedback to configure existing interfaces.
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities and client relationship management experience.
  • Experience with Figma and DevOps.

Responsibilities

  • Create effective, user friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
  • Design the overall functionality of the product in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.
  • Design user interfaces for various projects such as digital displays, publications, media, and other creative materials as required.
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate the designs.
  • Conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
  • Work on individual assignments and/or multi-disciplinary teams to meet the business need/outcome of the client using agile principles and incorporating end user’s feedback.
  • Ensure a smooth user experience and design through understanding the end user’s goals and outcomes.
  • Lead and monitor UX activities throughout the product development life cycle, to ensure that project objectives and schedules are being met.
  • Provide technology expertise for creating and implementing integrated end-to-end solutions and/or designs.
  • Establish web design solutions which meet user and client needs supported by deliverables such as service blueprints, customer journey maps, wireframes, user research etc..
  • Provide expertise in developing and executing online user experience/content strategy through discovering the relevant use cases for the right user / stakeholders.
  • Support the product owner to create the optimal digital experience for end users leveraging agile thinking and best practices to develop the solution / software.
  • Apply UX design methods – journey mapping, prototyping, working with the design system, etc. to support needs analysis of users.
  • Engage with end users to understand their needs and desired outcomes in order to facilitate system/business solutions that meet those needs.
