About The Position

SharkNinja is seeking a UX Design Operations Specialist to join their UX team. This role focuses on improving the design team's efficiency through process, tooling, and AI adoption. The ideal candidate will have a background in design, understand the design process, and be enthusiastic about using AI to enhance design work. This position involves hands-on work to build product SKUs and requires a blend of process improvement and practical design application.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of experience in a design role (UX/UI, product, industrial, or graphic design) with hands-on design experience.
• Genuine fluency with AI tools relevant to design and productivity.
• Demonstrated ability to redesign inefficient processes.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills.
• Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and project/workflow tools (Asana, Jira, Notion, or similar).
• A builder's mindset: comfortable writing process docs, testing AI tools, and contributing to live design deliverables.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in design operations, program management, or a similar hybrid role.
• Experience working on physical product development / SKU creation (packaging, product design, or similar CPG/consumer hardware background).

Responsibilities

• Audit and map current UX/design workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Design and implement modernized processes, systems, and standards to increase team speed and quality.
• Evaluate, pilot, and roll out AI-assisted workflows for design tasks.
• Build internal playbooks, templates, and file-management standards.
• Partner with design, product, engineering, and marketing to streamline cross-functional handoffs.
• Manage the design team's tool stack, including evaluating new software and AI platforms.
• Contribute hands-on design work to build and finalize product SKUs.
• Track team capacity, project timelines, and delivery metrics, reporting on process health to leadership.
• Champion change management for new tools and processes.
