About The Position

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a PRN Utilization Review Coordinator to monitor utilization across the continuum of services and optimize reimbursement. The coordinator monitors adherence to the hospital’s utilization review plan, promoting effective and efficient use of hospital services and assessing the appropriateness of admissions and extended hospital stays.

The role requires attendance at orientation Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 133-bed acute psychiatric care facility in Flowood, Mississippi, providing psychiatric treatment for adults, children, and adolescents.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Hold a current Mississippi license as a registered professional nurse.
• Have 1–3 years of psychiatric experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• 3–5 years of experience in a psychiatric setting.
