About The Position

The Utilization Management Data Coordinator supports the Utilization Management team of nurses and physician advisors to ensure timely handling of authorizations and denials for hospitalized patients. The role involves daily communication with providers and internal departments to ensure accurate authorization of services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in data management required.
• One year of experience in some combination of utilization management, pre-certifications, or denials required.
• General experience in hospital or managed-care utilization review and insurance requirements required.
• A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
