About The Position

As a Utility Person you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading bulk containers of raw materials and finished goods. You will provide hands-on operating support as part of the utility team and have collaborative interactions with shift personnel as well the Maintenance, Laboratory, and Logistics departments.

Requirements

Demonstrate behavior consistent with site standards and ensure all standard operating procedures followed
Be able to pay attention to detail for blending and labeling of finished goods
Must be able to lift upwards of 25kgs, and have good mobility as the role involves bending, and lifting
Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical and logical reasoning abilities
Basic computer skills required
Minimum High School Diploma or General Education Diploma

Nice To Haves

Technical or vocational education preferred
Experience in Chemical Process Manufacturing and Handling is preferred

Responsibilities

Monitor the transfer process while loading/unloading trailers and railcars and report any unusual or unsafe conditions
Review paperwork and documentation, prior to loading/unloading trailers and railcars
Participate in activities and meetings that will enhance plant safety, reliability, cost and environmental performance.
Demonstrate behavior consistent with site standards and coach others to do the same.
Ensure all standard operating procedures followed.
Maintain housekeeping standards in their work area
