About The Position

Our Home is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Utility on 1st shift. Your primary responsibility will be blending material, but also assigned activities in a variety of environments for each of the operations in the facility as needed, while following all HACCP procedures ensuring quality measures are met. Typical working hours for this role are Monday - Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

1-2 years related experience and training preferred
Attention to detail and be a self-starter
Must be able to learn and understand the Production process
Ability to do repetitive tasks for prolonged periods and work at a pace required to keep up with production demands
Understanding of the food industry and safety standards
Basic Math Skills Required
Exceptional, grammar, writing, and documentation skills required.
Teamwork and communication skills required

Responsibilities

Responsible for having a working knowledge of all SOPs associated with the utility position.
Able to work at a fast pace in order to keep pace with production demands
Compliance required with safety procedures and programs
Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the production areas and supporting equipment, food safety, and following Good Manufacturing Practices protocols
Other responsibilities as assigned by Our Home management
All employees are responsible for immediately reporting any food safety, food quality, safety issues, or plant security issues to management for appropriate action.
All employees are responsible for upholding the principles of SQF Food Safety Code.
