About The Position

The Utility Kitchen Worker works at the River Road assisted living care residence and is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Duties include washing dishes and pots, sweeping and mopping, and removing garbage and cardboard. The stated schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., including every other weekend. The starting hourly rate is $18.00.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds.
• Working knowledge of a commercial dishwasher, power washer, eye wash station, garbage compactor, garbage disposal, and commercial cooking equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and be understood in English.
• Familiarity with basic computer skills.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season.

Responsibilities
