Rainbow Municipal Water District is seeking a Utility Worker to join their Construction Department and help maintain the infrastructure customers depend on. This recruitment is for new positions to build and train an in-house Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Construction Crew. This team will focus on proactively replacing aging pipelines, valves, and other critical infrastructure before failures occur. The role involves responding to water main breaks, service line leaks, and other emergencies, as well as building new infrastructure. The District is open to hiring at multiple levels based on qualifications and experience. Water Distribution certifications, a Class A CDL, or welding certification may qualify for a higher-level appointment and higher pay. This is a hands-on career where you can work outdoors, build infrastructure, and make a visible impact in the community.
