About The Position

At Verde Clean, the Utility Technician helps maintain facilities through custodial services, floor care, light maintenance, and operational support. The role suits someone who takes pride in hands-on work and contributes well in a team-oriented environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Pay is $23.00 per hour, with bonus incentives that could increase the hourly rate by up to an additional dollar.

Requirements

• Experience in custodial, janitorial, facilities, or maintenance work is preferred.
• Ability to perform floor care services using ride-on and walk-behind floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, and other floor care and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to safely operate outdoor maintenance equipment, including pressure washers and leaf blowers.
• Familiarity with general custodial tools and equipment, including push brooms, shovels, utility carts, wheelbarrows, ladders, push carts, and dollies.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for cleaning and maintenance equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial and light maintenance duties as assigned.
• Complete special cleaning projects, floor care services, and event setup and breakdown.
• Assist with supply inventory management and equipment maintenance.
• Support daily custodial operations and provide coverage as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and report facility or equipment concerns to management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers.
