About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the food service areas, including dishwashing, general cleaning, and assisting with food storage. The position requires adherence to food service guidelines and sanitation standards.

Requirements

Ability to work with cafeteria equipment.
Working knowledge of restaurant cleaning methods.
Ability to follow instructions, adapt quickly to changes and work independently.
Good time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to meet sanitation standards which include personal hygiene.
Ability to tolerate extensive standing.
Must follow dress code.
Lifting of up to 35 lbs. required.

Responsibilities

Perform daily clean-up duties including washing and storing dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils.
Ensure cleanliness and proper storage of all food areas and the dish room at the end of each shift.
Sweep and mop floors daily.
Fill ice stations in the beverage area of the dining room at the start of each shift.
Maintain cleanliness of the dish machine, including regular water changes.
Perform daily cleaning of all F&B areas as instructed, including walls, ceilings, floor mats, equipment, and the kitchen back door area.
Empty garbage, clean cans when needed, and at the end of the shift.
Assist with storing away dry storage goods upon arrival.
Follow all Food Service Guidelines.
Perform other tasks or duties as assigned by the executive chef.
