Utility Person I (CMD - 602)
About The Position
As a Utility Person I, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move parts, handling the loading and unloading of equipment, and managing the shipping/receiving of parts from various sources. You will also be responsible for cleaning and preparing equipment for shipment and storage, and performing other assigned duties. This role requires keeping the shop clean and organized, performing general maintenance on equipment and buildings, and assisting technicians as needed. You will also maintain steam cleaner/parts cleaner equipment and ensure materials removed from vats are properly cleaned and organized.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license with a clean driving record
- Ability to effectively operate forklifts
- Ability to effectively operate a steam cleaner/parts cleaner
- Ability to effectively operate general hand tools
- Ability to effectively operate overhead cranes
- Good organizational skills
- Able to lift 50 pounds
