Parts Person III (CMD-501)
About The Position
This position is responsible for performing all aspects of tasks associated with inside sales of products and services that meet the requirements of WPI customers. The role involves fulfilling functions of Parts Person I and II, assisting outside sales with quotes and inquiries, maintaining paperwork flow from the parts department, and assisting the shop with parts orders. The Parts Person III will also monitor and report problems with inventory and delivery companies, attend training to increase product knowledge, and promote good welfare among the company and its divisions. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 year(s) previous experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives.
- Meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.
- Conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company.
- Current driver's license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance company standards.
- Computer literate and proficient in a Windows based environment.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Able to bend and twist several times a day.
- Ability to work flexible hours and days.
- Dependable and work independent.
- Maintain good client relations.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.
- Ability to effectively operate various types of office equipment, (i.e. fax, printer copier, etc.).
- Ability to effectively operate forklift.
- Protect the company assets and interests.

- Some mechanical background or knowledge is helpful.
Responsibilities
