About The Position

This position performs various jobs within the warehouse or on the grounds as assigned. Responsibilities can include pallet sorting, restacking, identifying product that does not meet customer specifications, rework, and sanitation. The role requires active participation as a team member, fostering cohesiveness, and supporting team initiatives. Employees are expected to be familiar with Simmons' operating systems (quality, security, office environment, company policies) and understand their role in supporting these systems, including communicating concerns and improvement ideas. This role is not limited to the specific duties listed and may involve other tasks to support business objectives.

Requirements

Must be able to work in a busy, noisy, dusty environment with temperature extremes.
Must be able to work on feet for an entire shift.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
Must be able to obtain and maintain company issued forklift certification.
Must be able to read, write and speak English, and perform basic math.

Nice To Haves

Previous forklift experience preferred.
