Utility Day Shift
About The Position
To package a quality product for shipment to our external and internal customers. This role involves packaging quality molded product in a safe, efficient, and profitable manner, relieving machine operators for breaks, making up boxes for packaging, and maintaining a clean work area. The position also requires the ability to do required paperwork, aid and assist line feeders when time allows, and assist new operators as needed. The Utility Day Shift employee must be able to efficiently operate every machine in the department and perform all other duties as directed by the Molding Manager, Group Lead, or Lead, while following all critical safety guidelines and wearing all required safety equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Self-starter with eagerness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Must have excellent attendance
Responsibilities
- Package quality molded product in a safe, efficient, and profitable manner
- Relieve machine operators for all breaks
- Make up boxes for packaging
- Maintain a clean work area including: conveyor belts, automation equipment, machines, and floor
- Ability to do required paperwork
- Must Aid & Assist Line feeders when time allows (ex. pulling pallets and stocking machines)
- Assist new operators as needed
- Ability to efficiently operate every machine in the department
- Perform all other duties as directed by the Molding Manager, Group Lead, or Lead
- Follow all Critical Safety guidelines and wear all required safety equipment
