About The Position

As a Utility Operator, you will perform a variety of operational tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic industrial environment to support Reworld’s industrial disposal process. The role includes handling refuse and materials, operating industrial equipment, and supporting safe and efficient facility operations.

Requirements

• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
• Qualify to wear a full-face respirator.
• Ability to consistently work in various weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is appropriately charged for effective operation and maintain refuse fuel levels in boiler hoppers and industrial equipment.
• Mix and level refuse in the industrial pit.
• Load ash using various types of industrial equipment.
• Supervise and observe delivery trucks hauling materials to the tipping floor.
• Safely operate front end loaders to manage refuse and materials delivered to the tipping floor for processing.
• Inspect delivered refuse, waste, and materials, and determine the appropriate disposal process.
• Monitor and control inbound and outbound traffic for delivery trucks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
