About The Position

Royal Oak is hiring a Utility Operator C to package charcoal briquets. Packaging line workers rotate through different positions on the line, including stacking, folding, and diverting bags. The role involves identifying and removing foreign material from product, meeting production standards, maintaining a clean work area, and identifying quality issues.

The work takes place in an open packaging area and may require working in various weather and temperature conditions. It may involve repetitive movements, lifting up to 60 pounds, and frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Requirements

• Must be able to fill bags at 85% of standard and pack at least 3 boxes per minute.
• Must be able to stack cartons at the required pallet quantity and configuration within the allotted time.
• Must be able to perform repetitive movements, if required.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, push, and pull frequently as necessary.
• Must be able to work in varying weather and temperature conditions in the open packaging area.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; the employer does not sponsor visas.
