About The Position

This position is responsible for the packaging of charcoal briquets. Packaging line workers are required to work several different positions on the packaging line, such as: stacking, folding, diverting bags, etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Standing for long periods of time
• May involve repetitive movements
• Lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling as necessary
• Due to the open environment of the packaging area, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and operate all positions within area
• Identify quality defects and source of defects
• Train new wrapper operators
• Complete roll changes within 3 minutes or less
• Complete line change over in 15 minutes or less
• Operate multiple lines (3 different machines)
• Complete FROI and do RCA along with Supervisor
• Effectively perform 5S audit
• Train B Operators on necessary pre-shift setup and how to perform PMs for necessary equipment
