About The Position

Royal Oak Enterprises, LLC is hiring a Utility Operator C to package charcoal briquettes. Packaging line workers perform several different roles on the line, including stacking, folding, and diverting bags. The work takes place in an open packaging area and may involve exposure to varying weather and temperature conditions.

Requirements

• Ability to meet the stated bag-filling and packing rate: 85% of standard and at least 3 boxes per minute.
• Ability to stack cartons to the required pallet quantity and configuration within the allotted time.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements and frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions in an open packaging area.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remove foreign material from product.
• Fill bags at 85% of standard and pack at least 3 boxes per minute.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Identify quality issues.
• Stack cartons to the required pallet quantity and configuration within the allotted time.
• Perform packaging-line tasks such as stacking, folding, and diverting bags.
