About The Position

Royal Oak is seeking a Utility Operator C responsible for packaging charcoal briquets. Packaging line workers rotate through different positions on the line, including stacking, folding, and diverting bags. The work takes place in an open packaging area and may involve varying weather and temperature conditions.

Requirements

• Able to fill bags at 85% of standard and pack at least 3 boxes per minute.
• Able to stack cartons to the required pallet quantity and configuration within the allotted time.
• Able to perform repetitive movements.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to bend, stoop, push, and pull frequently as necessary.
• Able to work in varying weather and temperature conditions in an open packaging area.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remove foreign material from product.
• Fill bags at 85% of standard and pack at least 3 boxes per minute.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Identify quality issues.
• Stack cartons to the required pallet quantity and configuration within the allotted time.
• Work in different packaging-line positions, such as stacking, folding, and diverting bags.
